steward_10832.gif FUMC Foundation is pleased to announce that through the generous support of Friends of the Foundation a total of $46,048 in community grants to 22 organizations was awarded in 2005. This amount exceeds last year's donations and includes $10,000 in funding of United Methodist disaster relief projects.

Annually, through its grants program, FUMC Foundation provides funding for outreach ministry on behalf of First United Methodist Church of Newport News, Virginia. The Foundation receives gifts, memorials, and bequests on behalf of First Church and invests these gifts so that they might provide such perpetual funds for the benefit of others. If you have yet to become a Friend of the Foundation for 2005, please consider supporting this ministry with your donation so that this great work can continue to grow.
