Well, ladies, we made it through another craft show and what a great day it was! As far as I could tell everything went off without a hitch. The fellowship hall and the building were so festive. The stew smelled so wonderful when you walked into the building. The bake sale table was loaded with lots of goodies. And the crafters were full of excitement and anticipation.
When all was said and done, every ounce of stew was sold, every salad, every ham biscuit, and every baked good. Two beautiful hand-made afghans, donated by Arline Quarles were silent auctioned. It was a super day. In the end our craft show made $4,000. Thank you, for all you did to make this project such a success.

You have a terrific group of officers. I know you will continue to support them as you have supported your team in the past.
I want to remind all the executive board, those for 2005 and the board for 2006 to attend the December Executive Board Meeting on Tuesday, December 6 at 9:30 a.m. We should not have too much business to conduct so I have arranged a Christmas brunch for us. Plan to be on time and come hungry.
This is a very bittersweet time for me. I have enjoyed working with all of you the past few years and will miss you greatly. I am so proud to have been even a small part of this unit. I leave knowing that you are going to continue to be a strong unit and I will always be able to say I was once a part of that group. Thank you for trusting me to be your president. You will always be in my thoughts and prayers for you will always be my sisters in Christ.
