Midweek Fellowship for![]() |
|---|
Midweek Fellowship continues on Wednesday, November 2 and 16 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The Foundation directors will host the November 2 dinner and the UM Youth and Parents will host the November 16 dinner. The cost of the meal is by donation. From 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Rev. John LeGault will lead a Bible study.
To make a reservation for Midweek Fellowship, please use the form in the Sunday bulletin or call the church office the Monday prior to the Midweek Fellowship you will attend. Child care is provided for the younger children during the study time.
During the worship service on Sunday, December 18 the children of the church will create a tableau of the nativity as the Christmas story is read. The children will not need to learn any "lines." Every child who wants to participate will be included. Simple costumes will be provided. There will be a rehearsal on Saturday, December 17 at 10:30 a.m. If you would like to help with this program, please contact Annette Pomeroy at the church office.
Advent calendars will be given to the children and youth of the church (one per family). This is an excellent way for children to "count down" the days to the birth of Jesus on Christmas Day. Calendars will be distributed on Sunday, November 20 and 27. Please contact Annette Pomeroy, if for some reason your children do not receive a calendar.
A Game and Share-a-Dessert Night will be held on Saturday, November 12 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall. This evening is open to all in the church. Families with children, couples, and singles are invited to come and bring your favorite games and a dessert to share with others. Beverages will be provided. Need more information, please contact Annette Pomeroy at the church office (595-0383).
This month we continue to count our blessings, meeting on Wednesday, November 30 for our XYZ covered-dish luncheon. Rev. David Hindman will be with us to fill us in on William and Mary Wesley Foundation activities. We meet at 12:00 noon in the fellowship hall. Everyone is invited to be with us and bring a covered dish and a friend.
