All Saint's Sunday, November 6. This year, November 1 being All Saints' Day we will remember those who have left us and gone to be with our Lord. Below is the list of those we are remembering. Let's remember them now with a few words.
|
Walter Thomas, a
dedicated member for
many years. Walter would
have done about anything
for his church. Betty Fox, she and Bob were faithful supporters though with their health could not attend regularly. NaNcy Cheatham Waugaman attended here as a child and youth with her parents as she lived in Hilton Village. Anne Batkins, faithful dear spirit who always was a positive personality and a lover of God. Charlie Daniels, a newer member about to be a trustee. A quiet man but, Oh, so faithful. Evelyn Bridger, loved her church and loved visits with Communion in her last years. A faithful member always. Dolly Wright, loved the church and its work. |
Willis Muire, found strength in the ministry
of the church as he reached toward God. Dorothy Wise Richardson, a faithful member. Lambert Harper, faithful and dedicated member of this church fo a long time. Gertrude Parker, always here, always willing to help, very faithful member. Jack Spears, old-fashioned love and dedication to his church till the end. Andrew Nicholson, a mere youth who was taken from us suddenly. He was here in youth and other activities. We miss his presence. Frank Hill, served here faithfully and lovingly for many many years. Laura Brown, loved First U.M.C. Jacqueline Lewis, a lover of God. Anna Belle Watts, many years of service here and loved this church. |
