It's time to get back to work! I hope all of
you had a wonderful, relaxing summer
because we have a very busy fall ahead of
us and we are going to need a lot of energy.
Are you ready?
Tuesday, September 6, Executive Board Meeting. Ladies, if you are a member of the Executive Board, please make every effort to be at this meeting. We have much to discuss and decisions to make.
Monday, September 12, Monday Morning Bible Study will resume at 10:00 with Louise and Russell Fox.
Wednesday, September 14, the UMW will be hosting the Midweek Dinner. We will need help setting up, cleaning up and making desserts.
The Mission Festival will be the last week of September and go through Sunday, October 2. This is something that we will want to help with and participate in as much as possible.
Sunday, September 25, Intergenerational Mission Study
Children of Biblical Lands
We will begin the evening with dinner consisting of foods from the region and then learn about children from Egypt, Iraq, Israel, and Palestine through Bible stories, stories of today, crafts, games, music and other resources. This will be a fun time for children age 6 and up - there will be child care for children under six. Children should bring an adult - this is an activity geared for the entire family to do together. Everyone is invited to attend.
Our general meeting will be on Tuesday, September 27, so we can be part of the Mission Festival. We will begin with dinner at 6:00 p.m., which will be followed by a short meeting and a program on Cuba. Again everyone is invited to attend. Ladies, bring your husbands, and children. Child care will be provided.
Our Annual Craft Show and Luncheon is coming Saturday, October 29. There is much work to be done for it.
So. Wake up. Say a prayer. Take a deep breath. And let's get started.
