Well, it's time to slow down just a little for the summer months. We won't be having as many meetings and working on as many projects, but that doesn't mean that we completely forget our PURPOSE as United Methodist Women.
The summer is a perfect time to catch up on our reading. Remember, we only have to read four books and the Response to receive a certificate in the fall. All books in the program count. Why not check out the public library and see if they have some of the children's books and read them to your children or grandchildren. What a fun easy way to learn.
Annual Conference is quickly approaching (Sunday, June 12 - Wednesday, June 15) and we, as United Methodist Women are once again being asked to help with the following:
If you would like to help, contact Carolyn Knight at 851-6758 or Susan Smith at 851-5870. They would be happy to hear from you.
