Teachers and other volunteers:
Persons interested in serving as classroom teachers or volunteers in the nursery, recreation, kitchen, art rooms, or music should contact Annette Pomeroy (595-0383) or Lisa Coleman (356-9990). Teenagers (7th - 12th graders) may be youth assistants.
Persons are also needed for workdays as we get ready for VBS. Those dates are Thursdays, June 2, June 16 and June 30. All workdays will be held at Hilton Presbyterian Church from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon.
The children in preschool through 5th grade will meet together in a "one-room Sunday School" class starting on June 5 and ending August 28. They will meet in the large multi-purpose room in the children's Sunday School area each Sunday from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. There will be Bible stories, activities, and crafts each week.
Anyone (especially parents) interested in helping staff a Sunday or two should contact Annette Pomeroy (595-0383) immediately.
The Bithynia Class will sponsor a study on Capital Punishment beginning on August 7, 2005, at the regular Sunday School hour. The study will address the death penalty from a Christian perspective and be led by John Talbert. All are welcome to attend. Additional details will be provided in next month's Tower.
