I just want to say thank you to all of you for the prayers, the phone calls, the visits, and the flowers, during the recent illness of myself and my wife. I am much better and my wife is slowly improving.
Again, thank you all, particularly for your prayers.

We thank you for your ongoing support. As you know, we rely on the support of members of the community to assist us in providing programs and services to children and families in Hampton Roads affected by HIV/AIDS.

Always wanted to go to Hawaii but couldn't afford it or didn't have the time! Well, now pack your bags and come to our Luau, Saturday, May 21, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. There will be dinner, music and crafts for the kids. You must have tickets to attend. The cost is by donation and all proceeds will go to the Building Fund. Watch your bulletins for how to obtain tickets. So grab your beach shirts and grass skirts, and sandals. Aloha!!
The XYZ Group will be going out to eat, Wednesday, May 25, for our usual May meeting. Bertie will be calling members soon for your input.
Now is the time when
Sweet breezes from the sea
Waft across the land.
Bringing us echoes of
Gentle waves, raucous gulls
And golden sand.
