We appreciate the contribution of all our bell ringers. Thank You, Chapel Ringers for the excellent music for the District Lenten Service held at our church on Sunday evening, March 6. And to the Chancel Ringers for Easter Sunday. Youth Sunday will be April 17, and the Chapel Ringers will assist as usual.
Thank you choirs for enriching our Lenten and Easter services. The Epworth Choir, while small in numbers, was an excellent representation of our youth when they sang for the District Lenten service. April will be another busy month as The Chancel Choir prepares for their Life Enrichment Series concert to be held on Sunday, April 17 at 4:00 p.m. The entire concert will be devoted to the glorious music of George Frederic Handel. Please plan to attend and support our wonderful choir and our professional soloists, Pat Ricciarelli and Sean Linfors.
Youth Sunday will be held on Sunday morning, April 17 when The Epworth Choir will sing for both services. The Cherub/Wesley and Epworth Choirs are excited about their presentation on Mother's Day, May 8, of our musical. We will have two Saturday rehearsals from 10:00 a.m. - noon on April 23 and 30. The dress rehearsal is set for Saturday, May 7, time TBA. The Wednesday evening Cherub/Wesley Choir rehearsal will continue to be extended later during the month of April also.
What an exciting time at First Church! March found new surprises in many different forms thanks to a number of our good stewards. Their hard work and donations brought forth the following improvements:
