Ladies, I have so much to tell you about. Get out your calendars, so you can mark them right now. You don't want to miss anything.

Our new UMW directories are ready. If you are a circle leader be sure to be at the executive board meeting to pick them up for your circle and members, be sure to get your new directory at your February circle meeting. Circle meetings are as follows:

Our next general meeting will be Tuesday, February 15, at 10:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Following the program we will have a salad bar luncheon.

Good News! There will be a fashion show on March 12. For a while it did not look like we would be able to have a show this year.

So be thinking about how you would like to help. Remember, this is one of our two major fund raisers for the year.

The District UMW is having a Mission Event on Saturday, February 12 at First Fox Hill UMC, called Nurturing in the Sun. A light breakfast will be offered at 9:00 a.m., followed by a hymn sing from 9:45 -10:00 a.m. The program will begin at 10:00 with Joann McClung, Conference Membership Nurture and Outreach Coordinator as the keynote speaker. After the program there will be time for small groups called Let's Nurture Each Other! and some time for fun.

The District Annual Prayer Breakfast will be Saturday, March 5 at 8:30 - 10:30 a.m. at Point Plaza , 950 J. Clyde Morris Blvd. The speaker will be Nan Pointer, former Conference Coordinator for Spiritual Growth. The cost is $10. Deadline for registration is February 28. Your circle leader will let you know how to register.

Also, Hilton Baptist Church is hosting a Women's Bible Conference, Saturday, February 26, 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This is an ecumenical conference and they have extended a special invitation to us.

With today's challenging and demanding times women need inspiration, encouragement, and direction. Local Bible study teacher and speaker, Linda Evert's challenging message, What God Wants, will be a blessing for women of all ages.

Be sure to mark your calendar to attend this dynamic conference with praise and worship and much more! Tickets must be purchased in advance. Cost is $10 and includes lunch. Call Hilton Baptist Church at 595-3000 for tickets which will be available through February 19.
