It was an exciting year in 2004 for First United Methodist Church. A number of significant changes were completed as well as maintaining the routine upkeep of our buildings. We are already off and running with new projects and we envision much more in 2005. Thank you to the congregation , the Over-the-Hill Gang, other volunteers and the trustees for making all this possible. Through God all things are possible.
We welcome our new trustees- Jim Loving and Charlie Yates.
Please remember in making memorials, or in honoring someone, the Building Fund, and 50th Anniversary Fund are excellent possibilities for your contributions.
A Super Thank You!!!
I just want to let everyone know, that I collected 11,300 fronts of all greeting cards for the year of 2004. It just keeps getting better, but not without a lot of help, from my friends at First Church, and yes from other friends as well.
Since September 10, 2001, there has been a total of 41,541 cards collected and processed. This figure just "blows my mind" but I'm very proud of all that has been done to "help the children."
Please keep the cards coming, and I Thank You All from the bottom of my heart, and I know the children feel the same way.
Love,
Bertie S. Mills
