The inkjet cartridges and telephones were sent in last month and we have received checks amounting to $105. That money plus money from the Food Lion Share Plan is being transferred from the mission budget to the youth mission and activity budget, as we promised. We hope some of our young people will be able to attend conferences, mission events and leadership training sessions with these funds. We plan to continue these contribution throughout the coming year as well.
Please continue your recycling efforts at home and with the church; save: inkjet cartridges, cell phones, eye glasses and hearing aids.
There has been a total of 51 large bags of food collected during 2004. These were delivered to LINK or the food bank by Jerry Dodson and the Over-the -Hill Gang. Thanks for your contribution.
On Saturday, December 11, we took a truck and the church van to the Eastern Shore Mission with items you contributed. Here is a partial list of what we took:
Also: pots, pans, plates, bowls, and plastic containers.
