Did You Notice?

First Church continues to move forward in many needed areas. Some of the most recent upgrades include the following:

1. New gutters have been installed on the parsonage.
2. New computer equipment was obtained for several staff members.
3. The old broom closet in the kitchen was changed to storage space for numerous pots and pans. A new broom and cleaning supply closet is now located where the chairs and ice machine are located, off the fellowship hall.

Because of a most generous donation from one of our church members, some time in November we will be receiving some much needed equipment for the kitchen. It will include a new freezer, refrigerator and stove as well as a warmer. After it arrives, a time for training on this equipment will be given, primarily the stove. If you want to attend the training you need to let me (Jerry Dodson) know ahead of time (599-4527). I will contact you when I know the time.

Who is it that lurks below the floors of First Church repairing and replacing old pipes. Who is that who moves in the shadows of the night and weekends trouble shooting computer problems. Our phantom is James Michener. Our hard hats are tipped to James for all the work he has done and continues to do for our church in addition to all the other family and work responsibilities he has.

Uncle Fred Needs You!

There is still much to do at First Church. If you have some time, we have a project for you. Just volunteer and call Fred Way. It doesn't hurt a bit.(930-3545)
