All persons are invited to gather on the first Sunday of Advent to celebrate the goodness of life in God's Kingdom. The theme has been created with the symbolism of bread, and a collection of bread will be the mission emphasis for the event. You are being asked to bring a gift of bread - any type of bread: home-baked or store-bought. This offering will be distributed to projects across our district that provide food for needy persons.
We will be celebrating the 50th year of ministry for the Peninsula District. Our newly installed Bishop, Charlene Kammerer will be the preacher. Our district Men's Choir will participate, as well as other choirs and individuals, and The Service of New Ministry will welcome our new superintendent.
This event will be a time of feasting on the abundance that God has provided. Please come!
The XYZers will enjoy a catered luncheon on Wednesday, November 24 at 12:00 noon in the fellowship hall. Menu: Ham, New Potatoes, Green Beans, Squash Casserole, Rolls, Cake
All seniors are invited to come and bring a guest! RSVP the church by Friday, November 19.
