Many thanks to all who have continued to support our efforts with food and assistance when needed.
In the last month, new lighting fixtures have been added to the outside entrances of the church. Thanks go to Jim Sandstrom and Fred Way for installing them. Also, the meditation garden has been mulched. Go take a look! Sit for a spell.
Things are picking up! Ever since becoming
a part of First Church, Gail Cassada, and
Vaughan Lunsford have been active in the
upkeep of our church. From helping to get
the sanctuary ready for Sunday service, to
weeding, to cleaning up the outside of the
church property, they are here consistently
week after week. A big salute goes out to
Gail and Vaughan.
Come join the annual Fourth of July celebration at First Church on what else, Sunday, the Fourth of July. Activities begin at 5:00 p.m. with games outside followed by a covered-dish dinner inside at 5:30 p.m. Chicken and drinks will be provided. This event is open to everyone. Bring your out-of-town guests, your neighbors, and family. Our special guests will be those who have joined the church in the last year. For you everything is on us. Let's again have a big turnout to celebrate our freedoms and our country.
