Final Opportunity to Work with VBS! We are still in need of persons willing to teach (Preschool or 6th Grade), work with Preschool Recreation, Early Morning Child Care, Nursery, or in the kitchen. If you could help in any of these areas, please contact Annette Pomeroy (595-0838) or Kim Webster (595-4652). Teenagers (7th - 12th graders) to serve as youth assistants are still needed.
First Church is responsible for the teacher/volunteer refreshments on Wednesday, July 21. If you could provide something -- vegetables and dip, cookies, cheese and crackers, brownies, fresh fruit -- please contact Annette or Kim.
The Commission on Education is looking for persons willing to give one hour on Sunday morning and several hours of preparation time each week to share their faith in Jesus Christ with our preschool, elementary, middle school and high school aged young people. In other words -- we are looking for Sunday school teachers, classroom assistants and nursery care givers.
For Sunday school teachers and classroom assistants, you would be committing to an every-other-month schedule -- rotating with another team of teachers. For the nursery you would be committing to one Sunday a month. Support, training, and all resources needed will be provided. Interested??
