Highlights of England & Scotland

Bristol Stratford Lake District
Edinburgh York Oxford London

hosted by

Rev. Dr. and Mrs. M.J. Kim

11 Days: November 3-13, 2004
$1979 from Washington, D.C.

Dear Friends:

guard011.gifDori and I are happy to announce that we will be hosting an exciting tour to the British Isles early in November. Imagine walking through Stonehenge and pondering the mysteries there; learning more about the mighty Roman Empire in Bath, and enjoying the scenic beauty of the Lake District. Also some of you will recall your study of English literature as we see places that inspired Wordsworth and Coleridge. As we walk the streets of Stratford-on-Avon, we will be surrounded by reminders of Shakespeare. We will also travel to the beautiful city of Edinburgh in the Scottish lowlands and the ancient city of York. Enjoy a stop in Oxford, a famous center of learning in England and a visit of Epworth, the birthplace of John Wesley. Here we will see the Old Rectory and house of the Wesleys, where Samuel and Susannah brought up their large family. And finally, we will spend three nights and two full days in London, the most cosmopolitan city in the world.

Cathedrals, castles, pageantry, drama, good food and fellowship, and even the English language (though somewhat different from our own). You are invited to join us and become a part of our congenial group sharing this marvelous adventure with friends old and new. We look forward to traveling with you.

M.J. and Dori Kim

See John LeGault for further information.
