With the Advent Season upon us we will have a full schedule. All of our activities will be coming to an end, only to start all over again in the year 2003. Our new officers will be in place and will continue the wonderful work with new ideas to make our UMW unit -an asset to our church and our mission projects within our community and around the world.

We will be filling our Christmas boxes again this year as well as our Christmas Lif-Enrichment Program that will be hosted by . our United Methodist Women.

Carolyn and I have been most appreciative ofthe continued support that you gave us during our term of office and pray that the new officers have the same. I pray you all will have a Blessed Christmas and Joyous New Year with Peace to all everywhere.

UMW are the hardest working and most generous ladies I have ever known. Without you we could never make our goals in our mission for helping others.

Last but not least the men who helped set up the crafters rooms, stage decorations and Bake Sale" goodies.

It was encouraging to have approximately fifty people at our November general meeting, at which time the officers for 2004 were installed. The service centered around Thanksgiving and the many ways we are thankful.

As I will be finishing my term of office this year, I thank the executive board, as well as all members, for their untiring service to the organization. My Co-President Margaret Warren, took the reines of the fundraisers and did them well.

There is much to be accomplished in the coming year. Our local unit is one of the strongest on the district, and we reach our goals because of your dedication and willingness to serve others and God.
