Christmas Food Boxes

Have you read the notice in the Sunday Bulletin about our food boxes? We have fifty (50) families as usual and each family will receive two large boxes of food, sufficient for a week or more. We will be needing your help with wrapping the boxes in Christmas paper on Sunday, December 14 after 2nd service; receiving the food and sorting it at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 18; filling the boxes on December 19 and making the deliveries on Saturday, December 20. Also we will need your help to pay for the food. Read the article in the Sunday bulletins, but remember each year costs go up. I have not received the estimated price as yet, watch the bulletin! This annual project is one of the most important and joyous gifts we give to our local families in need. Make your gift, a gift of love for the Christ Child.

LEST WE FORGET - PORT HOSTING

On Wednesday night, December 31, our first guests will arrive at 6:00 p.m. to start our week of hosting the homeless through the LINK/PORT program. There will be five churches sharing the hosting with us. As the time draws nearer, you will get more information and have an opportunity to participate in the program right here in our church. This program requires you and your time: there will be no collection or cost to you.
