Advent Calendars given to children

Advent Calendars will be given to the children and youth of the church (one per family). This is an excellent way for children to "count down" the days to the birth of Jesus on Christmas Day. Calendars will be distributed on Sunday, November 23 & 30. Please contact Annette Pomeroy, if for some reason your children do not receive a calendar.

Sunday School

for Youth Classes

Have you thought about serving the church by sharing your faith in Christ with others? The two youth Sunday School classes (Middle school & Senior High school) are in need of teachers or teacher assistants. The Senior High Class is looking for someone to share the teaching responsibilities. The Middle School Class is looking for someone to serve as a teacher assistant. The commitment for each of these is on an every other month schedule. If you would like to share your faith with one of these groups, please contact Annette Pomeroy immediately.

eXtra Years of Zest

Billie Way

We have canceled the November meeting due to conflicts. However, a group of seniors are going to a play in Virginia Beach on Wednesday, November 19. The play is 42nd Street, a musical set in New York City. The van still has four vacant seats, so anyone interested can call Billie Way at 930-3545 by November 5. A notice of this event is posted on a bulletin board near the back door.
