What Children Need -- A Focus on Children

"Focus on Children" is an educational gathering designed to enhance

parents' and caretakers' knowledge about child health and safety issues. It is

co-sponsored by the Warwick Memorial United Methodist Women and

Newport News Healthy Families Initiative.

Maritza Jennings from Tidewater Regional Center for Methodist

Family Services will give a brief presentation on children's issues.

Professionals from agencies that promote the well-being of children

will be available at exhibits to provide information and resources about child

health and safety.

Health screening for children will also be available.
