"Nan Kay Papa Mwen" - "In My Father's House"

As part of the summer Sunday School program, the children and their families are collecting money for and learning about International Child Care, a Christian Health development organization operating in Haiti and the Dominican Republic. It works to change the conditions that make people sick, hungry, impoverished and afraid by providing both immediate, compassionate attention to acute human needs, as well as long-term solutions to the root causes of sickness and suffering.

You will find placed around the church "Tap Tap" Banks. In Haiti, people use Tap Taps, small buses or pick-up trucks with canopies over the back, for public transportation. Tap Taps are generally painted with bold designs and bright colors. Phrases such as "God is good" or words like "faith" or "love" are often painted on the sides of these vehicles. Look for the TAP TAP BANKS around the church and please be generous.
