The Chapel Ringers (youth) are scheduled to play both services on Palm Sunday, April 13. The Chancel Ringers (adults) will play for our district Lenten series at our church on Sunday evening, April 6 and also at both services on Easter Sunday, April 20.

Just Like You and Me was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed their time and talents.

The music department at FUMC has another busy month in April. Please note that we will NOT be holding any rehearsals on the Wednesday night following Easter (4/23/03).

Life Enrichment Series - Sunday, April 13, 4:00 p.m.

Our Chancel Choir will be joined by a chamber orchestra, led by Dora Marshall Mullins, in a series of works by composer Gabriel Fauré. The featured work is the Requiem, a series of beautiful pieces pleading our transition from earthly life to peace and life eternal. The very beautiful Pié Jesus (which will be sung by Pat Ricciarelli) and In Paradisum (frequently heard as an organ solo) are both from this Mass. Steve Kelly will join us as baritone soloist. The Church Council is providing the reception.
