Easter spells out beauty, the rare beauty of new life. -S. D. Gordon

We are going to have a Seder in the Fellowship Hall on Maundy Thursday, April 17 at 6:00 p.m. followed by Holy Communion. This is a symbolic meal in remembrance of The Last supper which Jesus shared with his disciples the night before his crucifixion.

On Easter morning the drape will be removed from the cross in front of the church. To beautify our cross and with your help, fresh-cut flowers will be added.

Easter lilies will not be given in honor/memory of loved ones this year. If you would like to make a donation for Easter, please consider making one to the Lenten offering which will be taken on Easter morning.

Happy Easter to All!

2003
-Joanne Bates

Come, Holy Spirit, come. Fill us with your love and power and peace and joy, so that Christ will abide in our hearts. Enable us to be an inspiration and a source of comfort to all who come in contact with us. Carry our prayers throughout the world, we pray, to reach those whom we will never see or touch, but who desperately need to know that we care about their sufferings and their needs. All of this we need to do now, O Lord, to help brighten a weary and troubled world. In the Holy Name of Jesus, our Saviour and our Risen Lord, we pray. Amen.

The work of Easter is not finished.
