Ladies, mark your calendar!

The United Methodist Women's Annual Fashion Show & Luncheon is just around the corner. There will be a delicious luncheon, beautiful models, and great door prizes! It's just a fun afternoon, and everyone is invited. You don't have to be a member of the UMW to attend. Just call Teresa Michener at 838-2965 for tickets. If you are a member of the UMW, check with your circle leader for tickets. Come on out! It's lots of fun! Bring a friend!

Shelby Knoble receives Mission Recognition Award for 2002

Shelby Knoble, this year's recipient of our Mission Recognition Award, has been a quiet behind the scenes worker in many areas of our church. She has served on the Mission Committee for many years, taking a big part in the Potato Luncheons and the Christmas Food Boxes; helped with PORT;been a Sunday school teacher in the Elementary Department for many years; been a member of the Bithynia Sunday School Class and representative from the class to the Committee on Education for the Day School; served as a counter; worked on the Publicity Committee for the Craft Show each year since we first started having vendors; been an active UMW member, conducting and taking parts in the programs, hosting circle meetings in her home, contributing generously to mission funds and nurturing the sick and shut-ins and shown consistent faithfulness and our UMW is blessed to have her. Congratulations, Shelby!!
