This year begins our 22nd continuous year of the
Life Enrichment Series. The theme for the 2003
programs is musical families (please see the
annual brochure enclosed with this newsletter).
Duo professional pianists Ruth and Glenn
Winters and their daughter
Kathleen (flute), are our
guests for February 16 at
4:00 p.m. Please join us
for the concert and a great
reception following.
Coming in March -- our own Pat Ricciarelli, soprano, and her brother Sean O'Neill, (trumpet).
We are off with a running start with the Chapel and Chancel Ringers learning new and exciting pieces. Welcome, Samantha Webster, our newest member of the Chapel Ringers.
The Epworth Choir is very pleased to welcome new member, Samantha Webster.
We are all working hard on our preparation for the upcoming musical, Just Like You and Me. The Cherub/Wesley Choir and The Epworth Choir will hold their first extra rehearsal on Saturday, February 22 at 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., in the Sanctuary. On March 1, we will rehearse from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and on March 15, our mandatory Dress Rehearsal, from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon. Beginning with the first Wednesday rehearsal in February, The Cherub/Wesley Choir will rehearse from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. so that both choirs may work together. Thank you parents, for your extra help and support.

As you know, the Bereavement Support Committee went into operation in January. It is our mission to provide our church families the opportunity to receive fellowship and nourishment following the loss of a loved one.
As of January 15, we have had two receptions at the church, following funerals, with Don and Madelynn Baals in charge of arrangements for the month of January. They have done an excellent job, and the families have been most appreciative of our efforts.
Don and Barbara Cockburn, 595-7674, and Sibyl Fench, 826-1514, will be in charge for the month of February. Dot Hamilton, 826-6608 and Lorraine Holland, 596-5781, will be in charge for the month of March.
It is hoped that all members of our church will become involved in this ministry. When you hear of the loss of one of our members, you might consider calling one of the committee members for that month to find out if you might be able to help in some way.
You see, we never have much notice for when we will be needed, so the offer of a plate of goodies, or whatever, would be most welcome and appreciated.
