Midweek Fellowship continues on Wednesday, February 5 and February 19 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The Chancel Choir is hosting on February 5 with a Valentine's Day theme. The Foundation is hosting on February 19. The cost of the meal is by donation. Mr. John LeGault will begin a study on "Three Hundred Years of Methodism," from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Please make reservations through the Sunday bulletin or by calling the church office the Monday prior to the Wednesday when Midweek Fellowship is scheduled.
Hilton Christian Church is celebrating their 50-year Anniversary in 2003. As part of that celebration, The Lynchburg College Choir will be in concert on Saturday, February 15 at 5:00 p.m. They are inviting us to join them in this time of celebration. Why not attend the concert and share with our Christian neighbors this milestone in their ministry to the Hilton Community?
Our pastor has placed in the library a program entitled Cloud of Witnesses. It consist of four video tapes with leader's guides which had been donated by Richard Helveston. Volume 1 Augustine / Leo and Gregory Volume 2 Monasticism / Crusades Volume 3 Thomas Aquinas / Early Reformers Volume 4 Martin Luther / John Calvin Included with this program are eight books and a Leader's guide. Mr. LeGault has also placed in the library several audio tapes of his recent sermons and a video tape entitled Paul Apostle to the Nations. This video concerns Paul's ministry in Athens, Corinth and Rome. Two United Methodist Women's Reading Program books for 2003 are here.

Marguerite Thompson will present a Mission Magazine Edition 2001 introducing a UMC Volunteer in Mission, a Youth Mission Chorale's Asian Tour and Dr. Ralph Nugent, General Board of Global Ministeries General Secretary, who speaks about UMC's presence for the people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Dr. Nugent was our guest minister on Sunday, January 29, 1989.
