What can we say? The reception following the Life Enrichment Christmas Music by our choirs was superb in every way. The goodies looked festive and tasted delicious. To those, and there were many, who had a part in the success of the reception, we say "thank you." The beautiful decorations that adorned the tables were arranged by Judy Talbert.
We welcome several new members to the Executive Board. The first meeting of the year 2003 will be Tuesday, January 7 at 9:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Before that meeting the District United Methodist Women's Training for all offices will take place on Saturday, January 4 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at Providence United Methodist Church. This is a meeting where you will learn your upcoming responsibilities as well as what other units are doing. Please plan to attend.
Our unit did well this year in all aspects, and we will press forward for the cause of missions in 2003. Shalom.

Your United Methodist Men will be sponsoring a 7-week Bible study for men called The Man God Uses. This study helps men understand their encounter with God and how this encounter affects all areas of their lives; personal, family, work, church, and community. We will begin our study on Monday, February 10 and will meet at Dave Williamson's house on Monday evenings from 7:30 to 9:30. This study requires 15-45 minutes of daily study and a weekly meeting. If you are interested please contact me at home 825-7392 or work 366-4734. Please join us!!
Our next monthly meeting will be Saturday January 18 at 8:00 a.m.
On Monday, January 27, 6:30 p.m., we will be hosting the Peninsula District UMM Dinner. Over 100 UMM will be joining us for dinner that evening. If you will be able to assist in preparing the meal, set up, or serving please mark this date on your calendar.
