The General Board of Global Ministries has started a new program for older adults called "Primetimers." Primetimers is an educational and service experience for mature adults. The purpose is to provide service and new learning experiences for older persons, offering opportunities for intentional education, faith-filled reflection, and cross-cultural appreciation in the context of Christian mission. Events are held in a variety of locations.

Mark your calendar for a new session of Midweek Fellowship beginning Wednesday, January 8 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. We will also meet on January 22. The cost of the meal is by donation. Mr. John LeGault will begin a study on "Three Hundred Years of Methodism," from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Please make reservations through the Sunday bulletin or by calling the church office the Monday prior to the Wednesday when Midweek Fellowship is scheduled.
to all those who supported the United Methodist Youth Wrapping Paper Fund-raiser. We sold a total of $573 and received a 50% profit of $286.50. This will go toward the youth's ski trip in February. Thanks again for all your support.
The United Methodist Youth Fellowship is sponsoring a Hoagie (Sub Sandwich) Sale for Super Bowl Sunday, January 26. Youth will be taking orders on Sundays, January 12 and 19. Cost is $5 per hoagie (turkey, ham, provolone, lettuce and tomato) plus a brownie. The proceeds go toward their trip to Lake Junaluska in July and their ski trip in February.
